Radiofrequency Facials

Stimulate collagen production, tighten elastic fibres and promote fat cell reduction

Radiofrequency facial is a non-invasive, non-surgical, and heat-based treatment - making your skin appear tighter, younger and firmer.

What is the Treatment?

Radio frequency facial is a non-invasive, non-surgical, and heat-based treatment, which stimulates collagen production, tightens elastic fibres, and promotes fat cell reduction using a machine. However, if you have rosacea, you should not go for the treatment as it entails the use of heat. Excessive heat can worsen the redness and inflammation.

How Does It Work?

Radio frequency facials use a device, heating it to 40 degrees Fahrenheit to deceive the brain into thinking you have suffered from a potential injury, which results in your brain triggering healing. In return, this increases your collagen production and makes your skin appear tighter, younger, and firmer.

Treatment Time

A radio frequency facial may last up to 30 minutes or longer if you are treating another area, besides your face, such as your neck and decolletage, or more than one area at the same time. The treatment involves 6 sessions, 2 each week for 3 weeks. However, your therapist can determine the number of sessions you require after looking at your areas of concern.

Treatment Cost

The cost of radio frequency facials depends on the number of areas you want to get treated as well as the numbers you need for optimal results.

What to Expect

Your therapist will determine your skincare needs and determine a treatment plan to target your problem areas. On the day of the treatment, they will cleanse your skin to remove dirt and makeup from your skin. They will apply a conductive gel to the treated area.

You will feel a warm sensation when they move the wand over your skin. They will ensure that each treated area receives an equal amount of heat. They will warm the wand up to 40 degrees Fahrenheit. After treatment, they will apply a moisturiser with SPF 15 on your skin to protect your skin and replenish the moisture.

Down Time

There is no downtime involved with this treatment. You can get the treatment any time of the day and resume your everyday routine, even if that involves going to work or a party.

Aftercare Advice

The only aftercare needed is to apply sunscreen with SPF 15 on your skin before going out.
